My Story
In 2014 I first came across The AHOY Centre when I put together a team to row the Great River Race in support of their incredible work with disadvantaged young people and adults with disabilities. That first adventure led to so many more over the years – rowing, laughter, new friendships, and treasured memories.
Climbing Kilimanjaro will be a very different challenge to rowing the Thames, but I’m taking it on to continue supporting a cause that means so much to my family and I. The AHOY Centre has helped thousands of young people and disabled adults gain skills, confidence, and qualifications through sailing, rowing, and water-based activities – and they continue to be a vital source of support and opportunity in the community.
This climb is my way of giving back and keeping adventures alive. If you are able to support me, every donation – big or small – will go directly to The AHOY Centre and make a real difference to the lives of the people they work with.
Thank you for helping me take every step up the mountain.
